Bottoli the Art of Fabrics
The Bottoli wool mill is situated at the north point of the town on the Meschio River , which crosses through Vittorio Veneto . From its raised position, there is a wonderful view of the historic architecture of the lovely town of Serravalle, which dates back to medieval times and was then taken over by the Venetian Republic, and which could give a clue to understand the DNA of our company, which constantly draws off from the beauty and sophistication that made the Venetian Republic so famous.
The history of Bottoli wool covers four generations of a Venetian family of entrepreneurs who began making woollen blankets and cloth around 1861 and since 1978, when Roberto Bottoli refounded the company that had belonged to his father and grandfathers, has developed its production vocation into the difficult field of patterned fabrics, where constant research and innovation is needed to ensure that special added value that is decisive for a collection to be successful. |
